CHARAKTER

Emotion in a small space - active and wireless.

With two DDFA power amplifiers and a system power of up to 250 watts per active speaker, the One Wireless plays up fully even at low volumes and does not become tiring even after hours of passionate listening. Excellent omnidirectional performance conjures up active high-end sound well outside your ideal listening spot. You still experience music perfectly around the corner at the dining table, in the adjacent kitchen area or on the second sofa.

The bass reflex port on the front of the One Wireless makes it easy to place on a shelf or near the wall on a lowboard. Unlike many competitors, the reflex port is never closed and the bass output is maintained. With a bass response of 35 Hz in the listening room, this active high-end speaker already has floorstanding qualities. It fills the center of the soundstage, with voices and solo instruments, with impressive detail. Right up to the artist's intake of breath before the first note sounds from the trumpet.

Light-footed and relaxed, this active HiFi speaker with wireless signal transmission adds passion and power to your music. Exceptionally clear and without showing the slightest harshness, voices and cymbals pearl crystal clear from the tweeter. Instruments are placed precisely in the width and depth of your room and appear close enough to touch without any effort.

TECHNOLOGY

DDFA amps for your AYERS One.

Dynamic, detailed, spacious and equipped far above the market standard. The active AYERS One Wireless is built with high-precision, chip-controlled DDFA power amplifiers that directly drive each driver. DDFA stands for Direct Digital Feedback Amplifier.

The One Wireless uses a 15 cm long-throw woofer whose diaphragm is made of fiberglass-reinforced paper and is held in a particularly sturdy die-cast aluminum basket. Due to its massive drive, the woofer produces an amazing lower cutoff frequency of 35 Hz in the room. The elaborate ventilation of the magnetic system via two flanks, reduces compression noise in the woofer at large movements to a minimum.

At around 1,250 Hz, the high-end silk dome tweeter takes over the musical action early on. Its size of 30 mm and the active DSP filtering enable this early transition and relieve the woofer very early from the midrange radiation. Since woofers focus the sound radiation more and more as the frequency increases, this early separation from the tweeter is ideal for the spatial imaging of the speaker. This makes the sound image almost holographic and allows a perfect sound image to be created even far outside the ideal listening position. The precision-coated textile cone of the tweeter allows excellent high-frequency radiation up to over 20 kHz.

Rear panel

With two DDFA power amplifiers per active speaker, the AYERS One Wirless is charged with up to 250 watts of system power.

A DDFA power amplifier continuously monitors its input signal with the output to the individual speaker drivers for maximum match. This results in virtually distortion- and noise-free reproduction up to the speaker's maximum volume (signal-to-noise ratio: 110 dB, THD+N: < 0.01 % at 20Hz - 20kHz).

A passive crossover is omitted and replaced by a digital signal processor, which allows a much higher precision in filtering. The signal processing is done with up to 24 bit/192 kHz.

To protect the high-quality electronics, the complete DDFA power amplifier is housed in its own sealed chamber of this active bookshelf speaker. Thus, all components are protected from any air pressure of the active cabinet chamber.
