INKLANG was founded in 2014 out of the passion of the managing director, Thomas Carstensen. After pursuing a career in the asset management industry, he grew a desire to build something of his own. His goal was to create a personal business in which he could consistently realize his passions for music, his pursuit of perfection and his love of design.
INKLANG aims to present music enjoyment at a high-end level and to develop products that are simple and uncomplicated to use. The company sees speakers not just as functional objects, but as elements that reflect the individual style of their owners. They can tell a personal story - a story that the customer can determine themselves. INKLANG understands music to be more profound than mere background noise. It expresses power, emotion and vitality.
The core drive of the company is to bring the full energy of music to life. As a Hamburg-based loudspeaker manufacturer, INKLANG therefore produces customized high-end loudspeakers that are designed precisely according to the customer's ideas and personal taste. Central values are personal taste, passion and freedom. This approach has already won several awards, including the German Design Award 2016 and the German Brand Award in 2017 and 2022.
The hi-fi trade press has been monitoring INKLANG for over 10 years and has given the various products first-class ratings in over 50 product reviews. This is followed by various editorial awards and the award from the German Institute for Service Quality (DISQ-Trust) as Service Champion 2025.
