- High-precision DDFA power amplifiers: The direct drive of each driver ensures maximum
control and precision, guaranteeing dynamic and powerful music reproduction thanks to a
system output of 400 watts.
- Deep Bass Performance: The combination of two long-throw woofers, active technology, and
a flow-optimized bass reflex port enables remarkably deep bass down to 32 Hz for the
speaker size
- Midrange with special smoothness: The Four uses a special 55 mm silk midrange dome –
also known as the "bear's nose" – for airy and transparent mids.
- Treble without harshness: A 22 mm silk tweeter dome with neodymium drive delivers clear
and detailed treble without sounding even remotely harsh.
- Digital signal processing: The precise DSP filtering of the drivers and the high-resolution

Difference from AYERS Five – What is the difference between the AYERS Four and the AYERS Five Wireless?
The AYERS Five differs significantly from the AYERS Four mainly in the size of its woofers and thus in its deep bass potential and maximum volume, which is higher in the AYERS Five.
We recommend using the AYERS Five Wireless in rooms of 30 sqm and more.
The AYERS Four feels comfortable in listening areas of 15 to 40 sqm.
The midrange and tweeter unit of both models is identical, so there are no differences in this regard.
Speaker Placement – What are important aspects for placing the AYERS Four Wireless?
There are only a few key aspects for placing the AYERS Four Wireless floor-standing speaker, as we designed the product to be particularly straightforward in its placement.
These include:
- A recommended wall distance of 15 – 40 cm depending on the spatial conditions.
- Placement in a classic stereo triangle, which can also be narrower.
- This means the speakers can be closer together than the listening position is distant.
- Only a very slight toe-in of the speakers towards the listening position (approx. 5 degrees) for ideal soundstage imaging.
- You can adapt the speaker's sound profile to your placement and room using the selectable room EQs (Free, Wall, and Dynamic) on the amplifier module.
Wall-Near Placement – How far should the AYERS Four Wireless be from the wall?
We recommend a minimum distance of 15 cm from the wall for this floor-standing speaker.
Ideal values have been found to be between 20 – 40 cm.
You can adapt the speaker's sound profile to your placement and room using the selectable room EQs (Free, Wall, and Dynamic) on the amplifier module.
Room Size – What room size is the AYERS Four Wireless floor-standing speaker suitable for?
The AYERS Four Wireless can comfortably fill listening areas from 15 sqm up to 40 sqm.
Large Rooms – Can I also use the AYERS Four Wireless in large rooms?
If your room is larger than approximately 40 sqm, we recommend switching to the larger model, the AYERS Five Wireless.
Due to its larger membrane area, it can assert itself better.
Alternatively, you can also combine the AYERS Four Wireless with the AYERS Sub.
Subwoofer – Can I use the AYERS Four Wireless in combination with a subwoofer?
You can very well combine the AYERS Four Wireless with a subwoofer.
Even though the AYERS Four can reproduce surprisingly deep frequencies in the 30 Hz region for its size, adding a subwoofer, like the AYERS Sub, is attractive for lovers of intense deep bass.
Power Supply – Is it possible to operate the AYERS Four Wireless without a power connection?
No, the AYERS Four Wireless requires a 230V power connection for operation.
Battery operation is not provided for these products.
Connections – What connection options are available on the AYERS Four Wireless active floor-standing speaker?
The AYERS Four Wireless offers a variety of connection options:
- Wireless input with wireless, digital, and lossless signal transmission in combination with the HD 10 Stream Connect.
- Wired via analog input for connecting a preamplifier with an RCA signal cable.
- Wired via optical digital input for connecting a streamer or preamplifier that has volume-controlled optical digital outputs.
- Wired via coaxial digital input for connecting a streamer or preamplifier that has volume-controlled coaxial digital outputs.
Wireless Operation – Can I also operate the AYERS Four Wireless wirelessly with other streamers?
The wireless operation of the AYERS Four is only possible with our HD 10 Stream Connect.
Other preamplifiers or streaming preamplifiers can be used when connected via cable.
Wireless Operation Distance – How far can the AYERS Four Wireless be from the HD 10 Stream Connect?
With a direct line of sight between the HD 10 Stream Connect and the AYERS Four Wireless, there is a range of up to 10 meters.
If the connection is interrupted by walls, this is reduced to approximately 4 meters.
Integrating the 2nd Speaker – How does the music signal reach the second speaker in digital wired operation?
If your streamer or preamplifier does not have two volume-controlled digital outputs, you can loop through the digital music signal (optical or coaxial) from the digital outputs on the amplifier module to the second speaker.
Corresponding digital pass-through outputs are available for this purpose. An optical or coaxial digital cable is required.
Number of Amplifiers – Are both AYERS Four Wireless speakers equipped with an amplifier?
Yes, both speakers in a pair are active and each is equipped with four DDFA amplifiers.
This means each speaker features powerful quad-amping, providing a system output of up to 400 watts.
Power On/Off – How do the power amplifiers of the AYERS Four Wireless turn on and off?
In wireless mode, the AYERS Four Wireless receives a digital on/off command from the HD 10 Stream Connect.
In wired operation, the power amplifiers automatically turn on when a music signal is present and turn off when no signal is detected.
Direct Connection of Source Devices – Can I connect a turntable, TV, or CD player directly to the AYERS Four Wireless?
This is not intended. For connecting external source devices, please use the HD 10 Stream Connect, which then wirelessly transmits the music signal digitally to the AYERS Four Wireless.
The HD 10 Stream Connect offers 4 analog and digital inputs, including HDMI ARC.
Alternatively, you can connect a preamplifier to the AYERS Four Wireless via cable.
Bluetooth – Can I stream directly to the AYERS Four Wireless via Bluetooth?
No, this is not possible. The AYERS Four Wireless and its accompanying HD 10 Stream Connect are part of a high-res structure that operates via "network streaming."
They receive their high-resolution music data directly from the internet.
The music data is transmitted immediately to the HD 10 and then wirelessly sent from there to the AYERS Four Wireless.
If needed, a Bluetooth connection is available on the HD 10 Stream Connect, but it plays a qualitatively subordinate role.
Scope of Delivery – Are power cables included with the AYERS Four Wireless?
Yes, these are included as standard and can be configured in the following lengths: 0.5 m, 1.0 m, 1.8 m, 3.0 m, and 5.0 m.
They can be selected in different lengths for the left and right speakers.
Delivery – Which shipping method is used for the AYERS Four Wireless?
The AYERS Four Wireless is delivered as a pair, standing on a half-pallet, via freight forwarding by our partner freight forwarder.
Shipping is free within Germany.
Delivery Weight – How heavy is the AYERS Four Wireless, and can I carry it alone?
The AYERS Four Wireless has a packaged weight of approximately 27 kg.
Depending on your fitness level and the distance you intend to carry the speaker, you may be able to carry it alone.
However, we recommend moving the speaker with two people.
