Music – What kind of music is the AYERS Two Passive Plus suitable for?
Our bookshelf speaker for larger rooms is suitable for any type of music style or genre.
Difference from AYERS One – What is the difference between the AYERS Two and the AYERS One?
The AYERS One differs from the AYERS Two in the size of its woofer and thus in its deep bass performance and maximum volume. The AYERS One is to be preferred if your listening area is small, e.g., 10-18 sqm, and the available space for placement is also limited.
Wireless Version – What is the difference between the passive AYERS Two and the wireless version?
The wireless version of the AYERS Two differs from the passive version as follows:
- The wireless version is an active speaker, equipped with 2 DDFA power amplifiers, each providing up to 250 watts of system power, so that each driver has its own amplifier.
- An external amplifier, as required with the passive version, is no longer necessary.
- The wireless version receives the music signal via a digital radio signal, known as the KleerNet standard (not Bluetooth).
- The digital music signal is transmitted without loss.
- Unlike the passive version, the distribution of low and high frequencies to the woofers and tweeters is not handled by a crossover network, but by a digital signal processor (DSP) that processes the music signal at up to 192 kHz/24 bit.
Speaker Placement – What are the placement options for the AYERS Two Passive Plus?
There are various placement options for the audiophile AYERS Two Passive Plus bookshelf speaker:
- In a shelf with a minimum depth of 420 mm.
- On a sideboard with a minimum depth of 420 mm.
- Low on a lowboard with the corresponding lowboard foot.
- Freestanding on the matching speaker stand.
Wall-Near Placement – Can I place the AYERS Two Passive Plus very close to a wall?
Yes, you can place the bookshelf speaker very close to the wall. For this purpose, we have explicitly placed the bass reflex port on the front of the speaker enclosure. This prevents booming or bass loss with close placement in a shelf and allows for very wall-near placement.
Room Size – What room size is the AYERS Two Passive Plus bookshelf speaker suitable for?
The AYERS Two is a large compact speaker and can comfortably fill rooms up to 40 sqm.
Subwoofer – Can I use the AYERS Two Passive Plus in combination with a subwoofer?
You can generally combine the AYERS Two with a subwoofer. However, due to the deep bass potential of the AYERS Two, which reaches down to the 20 Hz region, it is not strictly necessary in our opinion. If used, the subwoofer should be able to play significantly lower than 30 Hz to provide added value. Regardless, a combination in a home cinema application makes sense.
Home Cinema – Can the AYERS Two Passive Plus be part of a home cinema set?
The AYERS Two can be part of a home cinema set as front speakers. For a complete home cinema set, we recommend adding the AYERS Center and the AYERS Sub. The AYERS Wall or AYERS One can be used as surround speakers, for example. We would be happy to advise you on your ideal combination.
"Plus" Designation – What does "Plus" mean in the name of the AYERS Two Passive Plus?
Some time ago, INKLANG upgraded the passive crossovers at the sound-relevant points with audiophile film capacitors. Since then, the models have carried the "Plus" suffix.

The AYERS Two Passive Plus is shipped individually as a parcel by our partner DHL Paket. Shipping is free within Germany.
