Audio Test 04/23: "Already in the often quoted intro (Frank Oceans, track "Pilot Jones" from the album "Channel Orange"), [...] the AYERS One Wireless loudspeakers show their full capabilities. Immediately, a magical dimension is created in the listening room. On a wide open stereo stage, responding choirs cavort in front of swelling synthesizer sounds. We still notice a brilliant separation of the instrumental actors when the rich bass already pushes us in the direction of body sensations. Breathtakingly staged by a 15 cm long-throw woofer with a fiberglass-reinforced paper cone. At this point, the active AYERS One would have ample opportunity for any uncleanliness, but nothing of the sort. Everything sounds rich, lively, defined and high-resolution as well as well-balanced in its entirety.

Meanwhile, Ocean's voice moves easily in the tastiest falsetto, the range of application of the 30mm high-end silk dome tweeter, which does a consistently warm and bell-clear job with plenty of precision, without ever sounding shrill or overemphasized.

Conclusion: The long wait for the AYERS Wireless active speakers including the HD10 Stream Connect control center was more than worth it. At just under 3,200 euros in the basic configuration, Inklang presented us with a modern and audiophile set-up that is unparalleled - uncompromising and fascinating at the same time!"

Stereoplay 05/23: "Like all AYERS models we have heard so far, the Five feels most comfortable close to the wall even when the rear switch is set to free placement. But near the wall, it seems more balanced, more focused. It's hard not to talk about the truly terrific bass first. It's as if a very good subwoofer is running along, playing colorfully and expressively. It's simply a blast, although there's not an ounce too much on the ribs here (but thanks to tone controls, you can season to taste).

Voices are also a delight, the mid-treble unit satisfies connoisseurs and analysts alike, plays dynamically and with all attention to detail, suitable for the long term, even at somewhat higher levels. Despite the by no means too analytical tuning, one can also hear fine differences between phonoamps without any problems with the AYERS Five. No question: This trio is equally strong in terms of operation, design and sound. Hats off!

Summary: The AYERS Five Wireless in conjunction with the Hub HD 10 StreamConnect is an incredibly well thought-out, clever concept with a clear focus on digital signals, gladly from the streaming service of choice. Oh yeah, and it sounds great!"

LowBeats 05/2023: “In handling, the INKLANG active system with the hub and the two speakers proved to be pleasingly simple - you can tell that a lot of brainpower was put into creating a system that is easy to use by as many people as possible. [...] I'm now familiar with almost the entire INKLANG program, which to my ears has virtually no weaknesses, because I very much appreciate the speed and openness in the reproduction of these speakers.

But activating the INKLANG sound ideal seems to me to make things a bit more perfect. The impulses of a hard-hitting snare drum come across even more accurately, and the imaging is even more precise. The price difference to the passive AYERS Two is 300 euros per piece. This is a joke when you consider how much more you get with the active wireless version.
